International Relations Experience

 

Elections Assistant, Warsaw (Poland) Trade Office in Taipei, 2005.
Worked as an elections assistant and vote counter at the Polish representative's office in Taiwan during both the Presidential and Parliamentary Polish elections of 2005.

Intern Foreign Affairs Division of the Presidium Office, Senate of the Republic of Poland, 2004
Completed internship. Attended Senate sessions, Parliamentary Committee debates and meetings of heads of states. Acted as note-taker, translator and a clerk.

Volunteer, Go Abroad Fair, Metro Convention Centre, Toronto, 2004
Assisted exhibitors and visitors at the fair of cultural and educational organizations introducing Canadian youth to a variety to international travel, work, volunteer and internship programs and opportunities.

Delegate, Progressive Conservative Party Leadership Convention, 2003
Voting Youth Delegate, met national leaders, experienced the campaign, learned the procedures and participated first hand in the election process within a Canadian political party.

Organizer, 9 major individual and group trips spanning over 60 countries 2002 to 2007
Participated in trips including, among others, sailing on tall ship through the North Sea, driving through the American and European continents, hitch-hiking through Ireland, exploring Morocco, Turkey and parts of the former Soviet Union. Most recently several trips to countries in East-Asia including Cambodia, Thailand, Hong Kong and Japan.
