A final assigment for Studio 1 MA program Semester 1

This project is set in the future. My interest is in the biological processes and its molecular technologies. I chose gelatine for this project because of its “bending energy” properties. Bending energy is the free energy that defines the distribution of tensions within the molecular areas in organic mater membranes. At present we are unable to control these processes. In the future we will acquire knowledge that will allow to control processes taking place in biological matter as we have mastered the processes going on in the dead matter. A century ago most of the materials used to build our computer were not much more then paper weight. I foresee that in the coming decades we will be able to control biological mater in immensely more sophisticated ways. That will include unimaginable possibilities of usage of the biological matter and processes in architecture. The review debate was enthralling. It was well received.
