The faces that I came accross in the ancient temple ruins of Angkor Wat intrigued me. Some sculptures were in much better shape than others, as you can see from the photos, but generally one is amazed at the amount of detail that the fascades hold with the sculptures on their sides. The scenes or faces that are depicted are very interesting to look at in themselves. The place is truly rich with ancient splendour. A feast for the eyes, unfortunately too many hands as well.
